Recruiting Contractor – High-Volume Hiring

Chicago, IL | Hybrid | $35–$45/hour | 30–35 Hours/Week

We’re partnering with a leading Chicago-based fintech company to hire a Recruiting Contractor to support high-volume hiring across its Contact Center organization.

This is a great opportunity for a recruiter or experienced Recruiting Coordinator who enjoys managing candidate pipelines, reviewing applications, keeping fast-moving hiring processes organized, and creating a strong candidate experience.

The role is expected to average approximately 30–35 hours per week, with the opportunity to flex closer to 40 hours during higher-volume hiring periods.

You’ll work closely with an experienced, collaborative recruiting team and help manage candidates from initial application review through interview, assessment, and offer.

What You’ll Do

• Manage high-volume candidate pipelines across multiple Contact Center hiring classes
• Review incoming applications and resumes and determine which candidates meet established qualifications
• Move qualified candidates through the HireVue video interview process
• Review completed candidate responses and help determine next steps based on established criteria
• Coordinate candidate assessments and interview processes
• Schedule interviews and maintain consistent candidate communication
• Support candidates throughout the offer process
• Maintain accurate candidate statuses and recruiting activity within the ATS
• Manage overlapping hiring classes and recruiting timelines
• Partner closely with recruiters to understand hiring priorities and keep candidate pipelines moving
• Help create an organized, efficient, and positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process

What We’re Looking For

• Approximately 2–3 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, recruiting coordination, or similar experience preferred
• Open to strong Recruiting Coordinators looking to take on additional recruiting responsibility
• Experience managing candidate pipelines or supporting a high-volume recruiting process
• Experience reviewing resumes and applications and making candidate dispositioning decisions
• Experience working within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Greenhouse experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and a high volume of candidates at once
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where hiring priorities may shift
• Collaborative, adaptable, and interested in continuing to grow within Talent Acquisition

Schedule

• Hybrid in downtown Chicago
• Tuesday–Thursday onsite
• Monday and Friday remote
• Approximately 30–35 hours per week
• Opportunity to flex up to approximately 40 hours during heavier hiring periods
• Monday–Friday availability preferred

Contract Details

• Anticipated start: November 2026
• Initial contract expected to run through approximately June 2027
• Potential for the position to extend or become longer-term based on future business needs and performance
