We are partnering with a highly regarded, global investment firm to identify a Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join their New York team.

This is a high-impact role supporting both front office and senior leadership teams, offering broad exposure across the business and the opportunity to influence talent strategy, performance management, and employee engagement within a fast-paced, high-performing environment.

 

The Opportunity

This individual will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, driving key HR initiatives while managing complex employee relations matters and supporting a range of talent processes across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic HR partner to senior stakeholders across multiple business units
  • Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and investigations
  • Lead and support performance management, promotion cycles, and talent development initiatives
  • Partner with leadership on organizational planning, retention, and employee engagement strategies
  • Support HR projects and initiatives, including reporting, presentations, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Provide guidance on best practices and ensure consistency in HR policies and processes

 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of HR Business Partner or generalist experience
  • Prior experience supporting front-office, investment, or revenue-generating teams within financial services strongly preferred
  • Strong background in employee relations and performance management
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leadership in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and executive presence
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Workday

Compensation

$170,000 – $200,000 base salary + bonus
