The HR Associate will support day-to-day HR operations for North Bridge Staffing Group, with a particular focus on onboarding, associate support, payroll coordination, employee recordkeeping, reporting, and billing operations.
This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to build foundational HR experience within the fast-paced staffing industry while gaining exposure to multiple areas of the business.
Coordinate the onboarding process for new associates, including required documentation and orientation support
Conduct or assist with onboarding calls as needed
Provide and explain benefits information to new hires
Serve as an HR point of contact for associate questions related to employment, pay, benefits, and time off
Provide support to Spanish-speaking associates as needed
Process employment verification and I-9 documentation requests
Maintain accurate employee records, including address changes, name changes, PTO, and other employment updates
Manage and update HR systems and internal recordkeeping processes
Handle sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion
Assist with ad hoc HR, recruiting, and internal projects as needed
Support weekly payroll processes, including collecting, reviewing, and verifying timecards
Coordinate payroll approvals and help resolve timecard or payroll discrepancies
Prepare overtime and workforce-related reports for client stakeholders
Assist with commission and billing reports
Maintain accurate Excel trackers and reporting tools
Support recurring payroll deadlines and early-week payroll cycles
Partner with internal billing and operations teams to support the invoicing process
Coordinate payroll and billing information across internal stakeholders
Help ensure payroll and billing data is accurate and submitted within required deadlines
Assist with operational reporting and other staffing-related administrative processes
0–2 years of HR, staffing, recruiting, administrative, or related internship experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working with sensitive and confidential information
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take initiative
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Comfortable learning and working within HR, payroll, and staffing systems
Experience with an ATS or staffing system such as Bullhorn is a plus
Spanish language skills are a plus

This position is designed to provide broad exposure to HR, staffing operations, recruiting support, payroll, and employee relations.
