Human Resources Operations Manager
The Human Resources Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of HR operations, ensuring seamless delivery of HR services across the organization. This role focuses on implementing strategies, processes, and programs that drive efficiency, support business goals, and elevate the employee experience.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in HR operations, strong organizational and technical skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
This position leads a team of Talent Acquisition Operations and HR Operations Specialists and requires a minimum of three in-office days per week in Chicago.
Seeking 8-10 years of experience in an HR Operations role with 3-4 years of management duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s business goals.
- Lead and mentor the HR operations team, fostering continuous improvement and excellence.
- Collaborate with senior HR leaders to ensure alignment between HR initiatives and organizational objectives.
- Improve HR processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Guide the organization through HR-related changes and lead change management efforts.
Talent Operations and Employee Experience:
- Design and manage talent processes that provide a positive and efficient employee experience.
- Create scalable workflows, tools, and processes to streamline operations throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Oversee onboarding, orientation, and mobility processes, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance with tax regulations.
- Manage employee files with accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Conduct audits of HR processes to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop HR policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements and align with organizational goals.
- Oversee the company’s intranet for global consistency and easy employee navigation.
Collaboration and Consultation:
- Work with stakeholders to design processes and manage projects related to HR program implementation.
- Partner with talent acquisition for a seamless onboarding process.
- Collaborate across teams to enhance HR service delivery and support employee satisfaction.
- Assist with succession planning and career development initiatives.
Operational Efficiency:
- Streamline HR processes to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor HR metrics and create dashboards and reports for leadership insights.
- Implement best practices in HR operations globally to ensure consistency.
- Leverage technology and automation to enhance HR service delivery.
