Firm Overview

Our client is a global financial services firm with a reputation for excellence in credit and direct lending. The firm partners with institutional investors to deliver customized solutions and fosters a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance workplace.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support key performance, talent, and engagement processes across the firm. This role is a hands-on HR generalist position ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at executing core HR programs with precision and care. You will work closely with HR leadership and business stakeholders to ensure a seamless employee experience.

This is not a Head of HR or strategic leadership role; rather, it’s a high-visibility, execution-heavy opportunity to drive impact through well-run processes and close business partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end performance management, promotion, and talent tracking cycles
  • Conduct employee check-ins (30/60/90-day), gather 360-degree feedback, and track performance trends
  • Report on key HR metrics such as turnover, retention, and talent movement
  • Liaise with HR and Legal on employee relations documentation and cases
  • Support firmwide timelines for mid-year and year-end performance reviews
  • Collaborate with Business Resource Groups and internal stakeholders to support DEI and engagement initiatives
  • Prepare reports, slide decks, and summaries for HR and department leadership
  • Contribute to cross-functional HR projects with a focus on process excellence

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 12–14 years of total experience, including 5–7+ years as an HRBP or in HR generalist roles
  • Strong background in performance management and employee relations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Workday or HRIS experience a plus
  • Financial services experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to manage deadlines, communicate effectively, and provide white-glove support to senior stakeholders

Ideal Traits

  • High attention to detail; organized and resourceful
  • Collaborative team player who can manage programs across departments
  • Comfortable in high-touch, high-performance environments
  • Eager to drive outcomes, even if not owning strategy

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $170,000 – $200,000
  • Bonus: $40,000 – $60,000
  • Benefits: Comprehensive package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and wellness programs
